Description

SAN-AIR V3R Air Handler Reactive Gel 500 g is a high-capacity reactive gel engineered to continuously release active compounds into the air to help reduce airborne mould spores, bacteria, fungi and other microbes - especially throughout ducted HVAC systems, return air boxes and large air handler units. Its unique water-based formula slowly evaporates into the airflow, helping maintain fresher indoor air quality, neutralise musty odours and support microbial control without the use of harsh chemicals. This larger gel size is ideal for bigger homes, commercial HVAC systems and expansive enclosed spaces where ongoing air hygiene is essential.

Features & Benefits:

  • Enhanced HVAC Coverage: Specifically formulated for use in ducted air conditioning systems and larger air handler units to treat a greater volume of circulating air.
  • Long-Lasting Protection: Designed to provide extended continuous vapour release for many weeks, depending on airflow and system size.
  • Improves Indoor Air Quality: Helps reduce airborne microbes and odours for fresher, healthier interior air.
  • Safe & Natural Formula: Made with water-based reactive gel containing essential oils and natural binding agents - non-toxic and suitable for ongoing use.
  • Versatile: Works well in residential, commercial and industrial indoor spaces served by HVAC systems.

Where to Use It:

  • Ducted Air Conditioning Systems: Place in the HVAC return air well or pre-filter area to help treat air before distribution.
  • Large Air Handler Units: Ideal for commercial or large home air handlers where ongoing air hygiene is needed.
  • HVAC Ducting & Coils: Can be positioned near coils or within duct access points to maximise airflow contact.
  • Large Indoor Areas: Offices, warehouses, gyms, shared spaces and other environments with significant airflow.

How to Use:

  1. Open the Gel Pack: Remove the lid and carefully peel off the protective seal.
  2. Replace the Lid with Vents Open: Secure the lid and open any vent holes to enable slow evaporation.
  3. Place in HVAC System: Position the activated gel pack in the return air well, in front of filters or near coils so that moving air passes over it.
  4. Allow Continuous Action: The gel will gradually release its active vapours into the airflow.
  5. Replace When Spent: Once the vapour output significantly drops (typically after several weeks), replace with a fresh gel for ongoing protection.

Effectively Eliminates:

  • Airborne Mould & Mildew Spores: Helps prevent spores from establishing and spreading via airflow.
  • Airborne Bacteria & Fungi: Reduces microbial contaminants that can contribute to poor air quality.
  • Musty & Stale Odours: Neutralises odours associated with dampness and microbial activity in HVAC systems.
