How long does the Home gel last?
Up to 10 weeks in an enclosed space. Replace it when the subtle scent fades. Hot, humid or very well-ventilated spaces use it up a little faster.
How big an area does one gel cover?
Up to 80 m² of enclosed space. For a whole house, placing the jar in the return-air vent of your air conditioner circulates it through every room. Otherwise one jar per problem room, wardrobe or cupboard.
Is it safe around children, pets and food?
Yes. The actives are 100% natural and plant-based. San-Air states the products are safe for use around babies, children, pregnant women and pets, are non-allergenic and food safe. As with any product, keep it out of reach of small children.
Does the spray need rinsing? Will it bleach surfaces?
No rinsing. Spray, leave for about 10 minutes, wipe. It contains no bleach. Test an inconspicuous spot first on delicate or painted surfaces, as you would with any cleaner.
What does it smell like?
A subtle natural scent from the essential-oil actives. No chlorine or chemical fumes.
Does it work on black mould on silicone and grout?
The spray eliminates 99.99% of mould and spores on contact. Deeply stained silicone may keep some discolouration after the mould is dead; the gel then stops it returning.
